The Quatse Salmon Centre

Owned and operated by the Northern Vancouver Island Salmonid Enhancement Association (NVISEA)

The Quatse Salmon Centre officially Opened in 2010. The centre is an education facility dedicated to supporting salmonid enhancement, conservation and education initiatives on Northern Vancouver Island.

Visitors experience how millions of salmon hatch from delicate orange eggs and grow strong enough to embark on an incredible journey to the open ocean, in anticipation to returning to their river to spawn, and start their cycle again.

The Quatse Salmon Centre features a world class interpretive gallery with exhibits and displays that promote discovery into the world of salmon and their natural environment. Visitors to the Salmon Centre get a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore and get hands on with experience with Salmon.
