The Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre is proud to support Fisheries and Oceans Canada in their efforts to provide education in salmon enhancement and conservation across Northern Vancouver Island. The Stream to Sea Program provides educational programs such as Salmon In The Classroom to students across the region. Eyed coho and chum eggs are delivered to participating schools where students care for the eggs and watch them develop. As the salmon grow into fry they are released into their natal rivers.

Hatchery tours for school groups and the public are available year round! Available activities will depend on the time of year. Egg takes, salmon dissections, Quatse trail walks and ecosystem education are some of the possibilities.
