The Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre is the perfect space to host meetings, courses, workshops, special events such as birthday and retirement parties. We offer a full kitchen facility, large meeting room that can be custom configured, audiovisual support and access to the entire Salmon Centre. There is also a beautiful outdoor pavilion available for use as well right along the Quatse River.
The meeting space can comfortably accommodate up to 30 guests while the kitchen is very spacious and has all the necessary appliances for your use.

The entire facility (meeting room, kitchen and Salmon Centre can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 50 guests. Please let us know if you may require additional seating and tables.
If you plan to serve and sell liquor at your event it is entirely up to your party to obtain a Special Event Permit. copies of the Special Event Server certificate must be presented to centre staff. Serving it right certificate must also be presented to centre staff.
The QSSC has plenty of parking available at our facility. There is no parking within our gated compound unless guests have a disability or to load/unload material for your event. Smoking is strictly prohibited within our compound, however there is a smoking section in our parking lot.
The QSSC will allow renters to set up 45 minutes before their event time and also be granted a 45 minutes grace period afterwards to clean up. Any additional cleaning our staff need to do afterwards will be billed to you.
Guests are required to be accompanied by staff if they wish to have a look around. There are a lot of moving parts that control water and oxygen to keep our fish alive. There are also hazardous areas and chemicals that may be in use that can cause serious injury. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The outdoor pavilion and BBQ is available for use provided you let our staff know. We simply need to know when and how many guests. This is required in the event of a emergency and tsunami threat. The outdoor BBQ is a non-wood burning unit and briquettes are required.
